We had a busy day,
a busy few days,
You know the weather has been beautiful here,
well what I call beautiful here in Canada for this time of year.
So far I have only had to shovel snow once.
Today we had a 60 foot pine tree removed from our
front yard. I was amazed at how quickly it was taken down.
It was dying from the bottom, but it sure brightens things
for us.
When the guys topped the tree, what a loud thunderous
noise, and I breathed a sigh of relief as it did not
hit the house, or take down the fence,
but it did fill the whole yard.
And I did not get any pictures....
what was I thinking, I missed a perfect
opportunity, oh well.
......
earlier in the week
I saw the doctor to discuss
Gastric Bypass Surgery, or the Lap band,
But I am not a candidate for it.
I am relieved too, I knew I needed to change
my habits first. It is a really good program
and there is a lot of work that goes on
before you even get to see the doctor.
I have been doing very well on my own,
so I am just going to continue doing
what I am doing.
.......
All Christmas decorations are up,
still have a few gifts to wrap,
but otherwise I am all ready for Christmas,
and the Christmas blues have left my house.
lol
..........
Tonight I am as tired as my old dog,
and I know it won't be long before
I am as fast asleep as he.
I had just wanted to touch base
and say hello,
hope this finds you all
Happy and Healthy,

rest well cinner...glad the blues are gone...and that you are making progress on your own...one of Ts best friends back home had GBS a few years ago...

ReplyDeleteLove Gail
peace.....
I bet you won't miss those pine needles all over the yard either.
ReplyDeleteWhen you shoveled snow did your back hurt? I have not gotten over my back pain since I shoveled snow. Maybe I need to a little at a time, not all at one time.
ReplyDeleteThere is something so interesting about watching people trim trees or in the rare cases that a tree needs to come down, to watch all that needs to be done to safely down the tree.
All your Christmas decorations are up and you are pretty much done. Wow. Now you can enjoy your week and anticipate your Christmas day.
Many blessings to you and your husband and your families.
I am glad Christmas blues left the building. I haven't had those this year as I have lowered the expectaions way down. That seems to have helped !

hey there sweet girl, scary stuff the surgery did you know you can get hypnotised to do the same thing, over here several people on the news had it and lost massive amounts of weight, do they do it there?
ReplyDeleteGlad you are beginning to enjoy Christmas have such a wonderful time, love to you
and a happy new year

Sorry you had to lose that great, big tree but it was so smart of you to take it down before it fell and caused damage. It always amazes me how the tree guys work. It's a tough job and all with a chain saw! Yikes.
ReplyDeleteGlad you're ready for Christmas. I watched the animated movie "Arthur's Christmas" today with my godson. It was cute and put us both in the holiday spirit.
Keep up the good work and get some rest Cinner. And have a really wonderful Christmas and holiday. xoxo jj
