These pictures are from one of our trips to Canmore,
I know I have showed some of them before.
butt it made me happy just looking at the pics
so I thought I would share again.
These ducks come right up to see you,
so many people around that they have become
quite tame. I like watching how they interact with
one another.
This is one of my favorite photos I have taken.
The male ducks are so beautiful up close
with their bright green heads,
some of their feathers have beautiful bright purple and blue colors.
After I spent three visits with the ducks on the same day.
The weather had turned to this.
The snow was as beautiful, and made me quickly
forget the ducks. we headed home for fear of bad weather
and getting snowed in in the mountains.
....................
This weekend time was spent visiting in the hospital,
a special lady recovering from back surgery.
Hubby went to visit twice today and she was sleeping
both times, He sat and read the newspaper.
When he came home he said how good it was to see
her sleeping peacefully, so when she wakes up
she won't know that her son had been there twice.
...................
I hope we all have a wonderful week in store.
Have Your Best of Days
Until next time

DeleteI hope that your husband's mother continues a speedy recovery, Cindy. How sweet to picture your husband there as his mother sleeps and rests. What a good son he is.
ReplyDeleteI love the photos of the ducks, and I especially love the one of you sitting on the edge enjoying the company of them. That is a precious photo...and I'm sure that it brings back warm memories as you are in deep winter right now. Hang on. Spring is coming!!!
Love you, my friend,
Jackie
Jackie, hi, she is doing much better now. She is lucky she has family around her and that we have her to is a blessing. I always feel so bad when I see people in the hospital with no visiters. That is my favorite too. Spring is not far away. It is already here in my mind, actually I always do okay once we get into February then I know not too far away....but we really have been lucky this winter, other than the odd week here and there. hope you are well. love your visits. hugs.
Delete'Love all your photos (even the Winter scene)! They all look like picture postcards!
ReplyDeleteI hope your mother-in-law heals and is well soon.
All the best,
Eileen

DeleteI appreciate this bit of color on a wintry day, Cinner. Thank you for sharing it. I especially like seeing you happy and relaxed feeding the ducks. I have been in Snowmageddon 2012 here, but now have internet, hopefully electricity soon! xoO
ReplyDeleteOlivia hi, we only had about one week where the temps got really low. this week much better. how long were you out of electricity...we have been very lucky that way. hope you are well, take care, think of you often.

Margie, me too, some people just seem oblivious to them. my husband gets bored with me after a while, so he goes for a walk sometimes and comes back later. I love my time alone with them. You are probably a Grandma now. can't wait to hear. hugs.
