Surprise, Surprise




Well I had a pleasant surprise today. Because I had been at the farm for so long I had not got all my weeding done...thank goodness because this is what bloomed, firat time since we have been in the house. I have no idea what it is other than I think it is beautiful....so if any of you know what it is that would be awesome to find that out....Can anybody help me? Hellllloooooooo! Thanks

  2. Gardening is my thing. Columbine come in a remarkable array of colors...they're very sweet and once they find a spot they like, (and the gardener leaves them alone,) they'll really take off and reward you!

  4. Oh, I'm so sorry! I don't know how I missed so many of these posts!!! I'm so sorry for the loss of your father! I took some time reading all the previous posts and my heart goes out to you. I lost my dad last year and it has been the hardest thing I've ever done. How wonderful that he took the time to be with you growing up. Amazing to eat all those meals together! And I can relate with you, my dad was a farmer as well growing up in Germany and I loved looking at his hands, holding them when I was little. They were always so big and strong. I thought nothing would ever bring my dad down.

    Please know I'm praying for you! That you will be comforted with many more wonderful memories and the sadness will turn to joy as you remember your wonderful father!!!

  5. LOIS, thank you so much...You have told me some things about your Dad...Our heath care system needs some changes!...i stopped by your blog, so sorry to hear about the Colonel. You have been going through alot. I think of you often...i HOpe he has a quick recovery and that he gets home soon. That drive of 3 hours must have been hard for you. Keep in touch.
