Soon It Will Be Playtime!

I  can hardly wait to get out in my yard again this Spring.
There is nothing that gives me greater peace.
Flowers blooming, birds singing, the pets laying in the sun,
fresh cut grass, the fresh air intoxicating, always a new project,
fresh turned soil to play in, full of nutrition for the flowers
and vegetables, my Venus statue that I love, to me I go on
a holiday every time I step outside. It is where I usually am
from dawn to late evening.
Soon I will be loving every minute of it.
Hope you are having a great week.
Until next time,
Cinner

  2. I'm with you Cindy...here the weather has been like summer....amazingly beautiful. The buds are already pushing up and seeing them makes me want to get out in the garden and plant and sit and smell their beauty. Hope the rest of your week shines.....just like you do.

    1. Yes that is my yard Di, temps in the 80's sounds like heaven. Our weather has been about plus five and I have already seen people in shorts, brrr. I have been missing everyone in our little circle, but know people get busy with life....just know if your not around I still think about you my sweet friend. hugs.

    1. yes most of these are from last year, so hoping all my lilies and roses come up this year. My yard right now looks like a disaster, had a pine tree cut down in the front and have it all piled up in the back, but once I get at it it should be alright. If my yard were bigger I would put in a labyrinth now that I know what they are, thanks to you Debra. have a great week.

  5. Oh yeah, I am getting itchy to plant flower seeds and watch them poke their little heads out and grow strong and beautiful.

    1. Me too , I have the best luck just sowing the seeds right in the ground, when I try to grow them in the house first and then transplant, never seems to work for me. You described the process lovely. hope you are fine, sending a big hug.

    1. Brian 80 degrees sounds heavenly, we have been hovering around plus five degrees, ground is still frozen, bit of snow still left in the yards, frost on the truck yesterday morning. so I am so envious at 80 degrees.

Thank you so much Brian for letting me print your poem. If you ever write a book I am first in line. have a great rest of the week. smiles.

    1. I totally agree with you Shell, I woke up tonight thinking about all the things I want to do in the yard, I am praying for a lot more energy so I can get these things done, and then I say just breathe, how is little Jacob. hugs and Happy Spring.

  11. I needed to come and spend some time with my beloved Cinner. To find the happy in places I've put it down and seem to have momentarily lost it. To take in some contentment when I'm feeling all rough and ragged and picked at...

I love the bright colors you've painted with in your garden...I think I'm going to have to do the same thing in mine!

And, most importantly I stopped by to tell you I love you and needed to read you today.
