Morning Person Marries Night Owl

Good Morning, good morning, good morning, I hope your feeling fine. Good morning, good morning, good morning it's time to rise and shine. Come on get up get out of bed, come on get up you sleepy head.....Imagine that being sung to you on a day off just a little off key...and your not a morning person...Some days I wake up grumpy...other days I let him sleep. lol (not sure where I heard that) Anyway I am an early riser and wake up and am wide awake instantly. Now my husband on the other hand he will sip on a coffee for an hour, read the newspaper and then he may be ready for a second cup of coffee, and then a conversation with me. I am not kidding on a day off it seems like he is not ready until lunch time and by then I am powering down to my scheduled nap. I need to stick to a schedule due to my cataplexy. So by the time I get up around 3 then we are good to either go out or get something done around the house....No wonder I Feel like I never get anything accomplished! He just laughs. Poohkey Bear there is always tomorrow!!!!!They say opposites do attract and yes I love him more than anything! He is very calm and nothing ever worries him....and you never saw a man move so fast to go and play his ball games in the evening 3 times a week. So I am starting to think we might not get anything done until the end of the summer....but then there is football, and being a Canadian, his love of hockey is like no other.....If you have any suggestions for me, I would greatly appreciate them. So I am gonna have a coffee and at about 8 the eavestroughe guys should be hammering on the house....He might wake up grumpy today!

  2. opposites are a good match !
I'm not sure what I am, because I change with the seasons...is that possible??

right now, I'm sleeping a little later and staying up way too late at night, but this winter, I was in bed early {the warmest place to be} and up early to drink hot tea....go figure !

  3. I'm not that much of a morning person either really. I like waking up slowly even though I'm generally out of bed by 7:30. So, let him ease into the day.

  5. Can you say EAR PLUGS? That just might buy you a bit more time in the morning :)

    Char,
I had to laugh when you said let him ease into the day....Thats exactly what he says! lol

Toni, I can totally understand about the tv. we only have one in the house. He hogs the remote...but I am not much of a tv watcher.i like the silence too.

Karen, ha ha, I have the ear plugs, when we go visit my parents I wear them as my Dad has the radio playing all night long.
