The sound of the water rushing over the rocks, the soothing fall sun in the early afternoon, the sight of a red headed wood pecker that can not be detected by my camera, the voices of my sister and her fiance in the background waiting patiently for me to get my photo, the smile when they saw me struggling with my cane to get back to level ground, the knowing glance at my determination to live. Life is about Choices!
The sound of the water rushing over the rocks, the soothing fall sun in the early afternoon, the sight of a red headed wood pecker that can not be detected by my camera, the voices of my sister and her fiance in the background waiting patiently for me to get my photo, the smile when they saw me struggling with my cane to get back to level ground, the knowing glance at my determination to live. ReplyDeleteLiss, thanks, some days I could just stay in bed, thats how I feel, however I do what I can, even if it is only for an hour. I do keep pretty positive and every once in a while have a little pity party for myself which is ridiculous. It is life, ups and downs. Yes after seven years I have become very determined to make the most of every day. Take care my friend. I hope you have a great day too.
I like the title of this post. Choices. We choose to keep going. To find the good. Even a teensy thread of good. I admire your determination and your good attitude.
