Red Poppies for Remembrance!

This picture is a poppy from my garden this past summer, Some of my poppies were not round, but looked like the above. Still beautiful, still perfect. We wear them in November to honor the men and women that have died for us. Every time I see a red poppy I am reminded of the poem In Flanders Field. In school I remember us all being summoned to the gymnasium for the ceremony. I hope this tradition lives on. I will talk more about this on Remembrance Day!
........
Today turned out to be a fabulous day, plus 17. I sat outside on the bench in the back yard soaking up the sun . Bliss. It is very strange for this time of year! So even though it did not last long, it was wonderful. I ended up having a day with energy. Me doing the happy dance! I put the t.v. onto the Jammin channel and danced while I did some housework. Not for long, but I danced.
------
I spent quite a bit of time on the phone today.
And after I thought how peaceful my life is!
Everyone seemed at loose ends today!
-------
As I am writing this I am listening to  the song At Last by Etta James.
If you have not heard it, you should take a listen!
I wish that everyone can feel like that in their lifetime.
That song literally gives me goosebumps!
-------
I hope you all had a wonderful day!
Today was one of my Best Days!

  7. I like how you accept each thing as it is, a poppy is beautiful regardless if it is a perfect round shape, it is what is and it is doing its best so it is beautiful. That is how you seem to me, Cinner, doing the best you can with what you have to work with and because of that being beautiful. You are a good example for me.
