Grateful for......

Grateful for the hot warm days,
the birds grateful for the cool water left in their birdbath,
they would flutter in and dance about,
taking their turns, always on alert making sure they were safe.
I am grateful for the time spent with my mother in law,
having a lunch out on the patio,
having her oooh and aaah over the flowers,
recognizing all the work I do in the yard.
I am sure she was grateful to spend some alone time with her son,
I feel that is important for both of them.
I am grateful for my husband reminding me that I can be bossy,
I am grateful for instead of being upset I started to laugh,
and then he laughed too.
I am grateful we had a nice weekend,
we accomplished a few things in the yard,
I am grateful for the visits with our neighbors,
I am grateful for the music that was playing in the park two blocks away,
I felt like I was in another place the sound of Spanish songs being sung,
I am grateful for the sound of the ice cream truck that has the strangest music,
but makes me feel like a kid again.
I am grateful for the time we spent alone,
and grateful that there were no worries to think of.
I am grateful for every moment.
..............
My sister and her boys arrive tomorrow in the afternoon,
I am so excited.
My sister said she just wants to sit beside me and hold my hand.
We are very very close,
So if I am not around much you know why.
I have to go camera shopping as my can not be fixed,
Without my camera, I feel like I am walking around naked,
something just feels missing.
How strange is that, I can't imagine how real photographers feel when they break something.
It is kinda like no red on a tomato.
So it will be cha ching,
I am grateful for credit, I am classifying this as an emergency.
So did you have a wonderful weekend,
and what are you grateful for.
.........
Until next time,
Health and happiness,

  2. We have a really nice heavy glass dish we found at the thrift store, a deep cobalt blue and just a perfect depth for the birds to use as a bird bath. We just have it on the grass under the patio table to keep it in the shade. We put fresh cool water out there a few times a day. The birds all use it. Cardinals, Bluejays, Mourning Doves, Robins, Sparrows, Grackels, and more. And the funny thing is that they will all be there in that area together. Sometimes they are ouchy but so much of the time they ignore each other and the squirrel or two and rabbit. They all get along in that one area. This is a wonderful grateful list, Cinner. You do have so much to be grateful for. I like that you and your husband can laugh together when he says you can be bossy. That is so healthy don't you think?
