fires in Austrailia

the last I heard was 128 people killed. the fires are stilll burning out of control. i did read today that there are usually 60,000 fires in Austrailia in a year, and suspect that at least half are set or suspicious. this is horrible. to our friends down under please know that they are in our thoughts and that we are praying for their safety and health. I believe contributions can be made to the red cross if anyone would like to help.

    Yep we're on fire and also experiencing extreme floods. Unfortunately the two aren't meeting.
    The current fires are the largest ever recorded here in Australia.

    hi lovely.
    Yse the fires here are just shocking. Almost 200 dead at last count. Please do pray for us, there are so many families left with nothing at all. I think that the whole nation is in shock. I live not far from the worst hit areas, we are safe but just so upset by the whole set of events. The Redcross is the correct place to donate money to. Thanks for thinking of us.

    Kathie, I am so sorry for what you all are going through and that it is all so close .remember we are never given anything we can not handle. however at times like your going through sometimes hard to see that. i will keep you in my prayers..
