It has Arrived!

On Saturday morning we awoke to a blanket of white, Odd that a week ago we had a record high.
It just shows to me that we really never know what a day will bring.  I think life is like the weather, or at least mine is. You have your highs and your lows, your rainy days, your gloomy days...but when I mix them all up my life is pretty darn good. The best thing of my weekend was having two long talks with my best friend. She  lives eight hours away from me for about two years now and we miss each other immensly....
You know she is a best friend when....she gave up her New Years Eve to babysit me after I had my first suspected stroke seven years ago. I was not impressed that I needed a sitter,
but there she was, no other place she would have been.
So we talked, laughed, cried, laughed some more, and I realize how grateful I am for all the special people in my life. My best friend can put things into perspective for me like no other. Of course I can do the same for her. So somehow over the weekend I have gotten in the Christmas spirit and I am going to decorate this week.  I have a couple of appointments as well, and maybe I will make time to have a snowball fight. I am just going with the flow, alive, healthy and happy as me!
Have your very Best Day!

  5. The birds are chirping so loudly outside the windows that face front and the sun in peeking through the bare trees. I know what you mean when you compare life to the weather. You don't know from day to day what it will be like, and you need to accept what does show up and learn to be okay with it. Not all my days are great but I work through the problems and keep my goal on being safe and healthy. I want to hear about your Christmas decorating when you get started.
