Embracing Newspaper Art!

Recently I have changed the header and background of my blog and voila, suddenly I have a new interest. I am so tired of all the newspapers I recieve, and flyers. I try to recycle as much as I can.
So today I thought I would look up newspaper art, and I am so excited by what I found.
Check these out.
from whiteowl.wordpress.com/tag/newspaper-collage. Is that not incredible. I am just amazed by it. I literally could stare at this all day. It makes me want to get up and create!

This one is by tskareru.deviantart..  You should see the picture enlarged, oh my! It is just brilliant.
Tskareru is definately in a league all her own.

.................
So if you ask me what I am doing today, I am surfing and then hopefully creating. Don't you just love when you find something new that just speaks to you! This world has so many opportunities for us, we just have to look for them. They don't usually come knocking on our doors, but this only took me about 25 seconds to try something new. I am so glad I chose the word embrace this year. It has already improved my outlook on life.

Last reminder for my giveaway, it ends on Sunday and the winner will be announced on Tuesday.
So get your comments in, become a follower.

The weather here has warmed and there is an Art Festival here, so I am hoping to get there this weekend, out taking photos, or knee deep in newspapers!
Heres to whatever Floats your Boat!
.......
Note to self, maybe I could make a boat out of newspaper or..........

  1. I am a bit envious that it is warmer there because it is so cold here. But I am also happy for you that you found another outlet for all your talent.
It is really great too. I would not have thought to make a picture with old newspapers.

  11. Jackie, I am excited about it, my husband is off for 3 days, so might have to wait until after the weekend. hope you are well my friend.

Cora, it might be a couple of crunched up balls of paper,,,that could be art. kidding, lol, when I am done yes I will show it to you. Have a great weekend.

Ribbon, you made me laugh...we have had about minus 20, - 4 will feel like a sunny day, even forecasting a day for above freezing. it will be such a needed break in this cold. When it is plus 10, that is almost short and tshirt weather. to me 2o is perfect , 25 too hot...this is all celcius. Imagine one day of minus 35 with a bad windshield and you could freeze in two minutes. There are so many differences between our countries, I hope to see yours one day. our spring, summer, and falls are wonderful, you would love it! Keep doing what you do with your blog. I find it very inspirational. sorry I just about wrote another post.
