Running Water, Butterflies, and Cherubs.

I close my eyes and listen to the trickle of the water,
Just enough water spilling out of the bowl
to make me think I am at a babbling brook.
I feel a bird breeze by me,
I open my eyes,
The bird lingers long enough to take a drink,
and then it darts away in flight.
I admire the cherubs and think that I will put some colored glass marbles
so that it will have some added sparkle in the bowl.
The little birds fight at the bath,
determined who will go first,
sometimes one or two at a time will have a bath,
fluttering their wings,
I have had the butterflies visit as well,
and I sit at the table across from it with my hand outheld.
I had a butterfly land on my hand once,
It truly was one of those ah ha moments
in my life,
Such a sense of calmness, total peace, total trust,
total curiosity, and then suddenly it was gone,
and then I breathed.
What a memorable moment.
....................
May your day be a wonderfully happy one,
I hope you cherish you and everything you come in contact today.
And if you are near the water, just close your eyes, sit and listen,
to the most beautiful music, for where there is water,
there is usually birds,
and with birds sometimes a song.
..............................................
I hope you are having one of your very best days ever
