Random Thoughts.and Photos.

I have only been back from my trip for two days now and
oh how busy the city seemed today. I was at the dentist and at the doctors.
Usually I do not book more than one thing for me to do,
so tonight I am feeling a little tired, but it was a good day.
The above picture is one of my favorites that I took, a bridge with the reflections on the water,
I had to look twice to make sure it was the right way.
Check out this beautiful Mallard Duck, that is how close they were to me while I
was feeding them. All day long today I was thinking about getting a bird.
Hubby said maybe for Christmas you could get one,
then he laughed and said I could keep it in the roaster.
After ten days with him his humor is starting to get to me.
I just do not understand how some people can spend everyday together
and never speak a harsh word, we both love our alone time.
So I know tomorrow when he goes back to work
I will enjoy my space as much as he will enjoy being back at work.
I should be missing him by about Wednesday.
I just read this to him and he said he may miss me by about
Friday, lol,
he just came back and said probably next month though,
LoL.
Check this out I thought it was such a find,
It makes me think of finding a hat to fit me,
never yet, I have a big head I guess.
The second time we walked by this statue,
there was a little boy with his parents
putting rocks in the ears of the statue.
He was having a great ole time.
It was cute.

This was taken on the day we came home, and for some strange reason
since seeing this I am excited about winter coming.
I must be crazy even thinking it because it can be such a long winter here.
It looks colder than it was, and the air was so fresh,
it was lovely.
living in Alberta, there usually are horses everywhere,
but this is the only picture I got of any horses,
How sad is that, Between the ducks, the two horses and one seagull
that is all the wildlife we saw while we were away.
except for this beast that was in a picture frame in our room.
Glad we did not see one in real life they are huge!
So that is all the muddled thoughts from my big head today.
I hope you have a great day, back real soon.

  1. That statue is great, but you can keep the snow. I wouldn't know what to do with it.

  6. Nice post with odds and ends of thoughts. Hubby and I are together practically 24/7, only apart if one of us makes a run to a store for something. We each have things we do on our own so much and yet we are at the same house. Sometimes one is outside and one inside and we don't get in each others way most of the time. We are settling in to a pleasant way of life. I think you and your husband would too if you knew you would be around each other all the time. We spend our mornings each on our computers and sharing any news and ideas we find. Then we have breakfast together and play a dice game while we eat. Then we each do our own stuff for awhile again. See? It is different when you are together on a permanent basis and not on a ten day vacation. I really like picture of the head in the rocks. Cute story of the little boy putting rocks in the ears. We do that too, talk about getting a pet now and then and then we talk about it and realize it just would not be okay for us with our allergies and asthma. We really are busy every day too, time flies by here. Hugs to you.
