It Has Come to Pass

So I am back in the land of the living,
Thank you for all the Get Well wishes, they meant a lot to me.
I got up this am at six to say goodbye to hubby before he went to work.
Then stayed up had a hot cup of coffee to warm my bones,
turned on the fireplace, covered in a blanket,
and lucked out and watched a movie from 1994.
Jessica Tandy and Bridget Fonda starred in
Camilla.
What a beautiful movie!
If you ever get a chance it is a must see,
especially if you are a music lover.
.......
So the day started with a feel good movie
and now I can sit and watch the snow falling as I am typing.
Oh yeah we have a lot of it and now I have to find my winter coat,
heavy boots, warm mits, scarf, and the shovel.
I know where everything is, I am just not prepared for it,
as I was holding off as long as I could.
.......
So I will shovel and take my time.
and if I am energetic I will do the houses on each side of us.
I have great neighbors, sometimes they do it for us,
they are all working but I, so ta da....
It will depend how cold it is.
............
Pot roast tonight for supper,
Easy for me to do,
First time I have craved anything since my cold.
.........
I hope you have an awesome day,
be well where ever you are,
and smile because
you may not have to go in the snow
to shovel.
If I laugh and fall I promise I will make a snow angel for you.
Have your Best Day Ever

  2. What a warm post, Cindy....
If you fall in the snow, I hope it is a 'soft' fall...(please take care of you)...and I smile knowing that you will make us a Snow Angel...
That fire and blanket and cup o'coffee sound wonnnnnderful to me. I still have the air conditioner on....heat in the A.M. and A/C in the P.M., but hopefully that is changing soon. I would sooooo love to be blanketed in snow like you are. And....your pot roast sounds delish!
I'm glad that you are feeling better....
    Love,
    Jackie

  4. Glad you are feeling better. I have to stop myself from admonishing you about doing too much today. The mom in me wants to jump out. Please take care of yourself. I think shoveling snow is very strenuous. Unless you know a different way to do it. The past two winters here in NE I shoveled snow and it knocked me on my butt. It is so tiring. But we had such a huge area to shovel. No longer though. The new little hippie house is pretty much no shoveling required. Yay.
