Thankful Thursday

First I hope everyone had a Great Christmas
and enjoy the rest of the holidays.
.........
today is Thankful Thursday so I wanted to
play along for this post.
I am thankful for a wonderful holiday,
for friends and family,
for the wonderful  meal that was set before us,
for the many times I laid on the couch and watched
the lights on the tree sparkle.
I am thankful for my health,
and for being able to go on an outing
for Christmas.
I am thankful for energy today,
and I am happy  the weather is warming up.
I am thankful my husband is off for the next 5 days.
I am thankful for all the goodness that shines around us.
We experienced a very sad loss this Christmas,
however we managed to keep our spirits
up knowing that some things take their
course, We are thankful we can turn to God
and find strength to focus on our
wonderful not perfect life!
...............
Wishing everyone a Happy New Year!
Cinner

  7. Cinner, it sounds like your spirit is full of grace and contentment. I love the sparkling lights of a Christmas tree, too, and am always a bit sad when it's time to take it down. Each year I promise myself to decorate a little earlier, so I can enjoy it more, but it rarely happens that way.

So sorry for your loss over the holiday. I'm hoping that your spirits are lifting....
