Hello Again!

Hello,
I have decided I will just show up here when I can!
No pressure,
I love visiting with everyone in blog land for sure,
but find that what I want to write does not seem to come,
as if my thoughts and feelings are on their own little roller coaster ride.
We had the coldest of weather, opportunities to sit under a blanket
drinking coffee, reading a book, or watching a movie with my
cat and dog beside me, all of us waiting for my husband to come home.
We are the welcoming committee.
We are always so glad to see him at night when he arrives!
Christmas decorations are up, we only decorated our mantel
this year, and I made a vase with lights and some flowers
where we will put our few packages beside.
We did not go all out due to the puppy,
he is getting better but when you least expect it,
he finds something new to test us, or the opportunity
for us to continue on with training.
My house looks more bare every day.
I don't stress, I just am calm and believe
he is helping to declutter.
I find that I am very content this December,
I know how precious a life is, and how grateful
I am for mine. I realize that every moment, every time
you wake up, each day is a gift.
My friend whom has terminal cancer is such an inspiration,
her determination, spunk, joy for everyday, she continues on
as if nothing has changed, she is prepared.
And that is what I want to make every effort to live the very best
I can, not with limitations, but to the best of my ability!
And when I have needed help I have learned to ask!
And I have learned to give.
Life is good, I have my hope and my Faith!
......
In case I am not back here before Christmas,
I wish you all a Very Merry Christmas,
or whatever holiday you celebrate.
May your home be filled with
Peace, Love, Health, Hope, and Happiness,
Until next time,
Cindy

  3. Dearest Cindy: sounds to me like your puppy is teaching you lessons very much like our new cat is teaching us. And that is: whatever is yours is not only mine but fair game if you don't hide it well. I believe our cat Uma picked our family to give us a different view of what really is important......at least she hasn't eaten one of the grands yet.....tee hee.
Happy Holidays to you as well. Oma Linda

  6. Hi Cindy, as always, you have a positive attitude and it is contagious. I can still hear your sweet voice on the phone from over a year ago, and I keep thinking I will call you, so be on the lookout for a silly senior citizen on your phone soon. Love ya!
