What is Up May Come Down

This is my backyard, there is just nowhere to go.
When I see this picture I think of a big
Ice Creme Sandwich
if only
The bump at the very back is my poor car,
and all through my yard there are mountains of white covering big pots,
statues and ornaments that I have left out.
You notice very few footprints in the snow,
Right now we can not get to our shed,
or the back gate,
it has been melting the last few days
but because of the warm weather we are supposed to get freezing rain.
Roofs have come down in the city,
today one of the senior citizens rec centers collapsed from the weight of the snow.
Thank goodness nobody was hurt.
They have helicopters flying over the city looking for cracks in the snow,
apparently it indicates a weak roof.
You just never know what will happen next,
for today I am glad I have a roof over my head!
Until next time,

  6. My Rare One used a ladder and snow rake to take off most of the snow from our house and garage roofs. So much work!

  8. Your car is somewhere under there I guess. We have a small garage and the car fits into it. That is a shame about the roofs caving in from the weight of the snow. Be safe.
